Water charges in rental properties vary and are subject to a number of requirements, including,
Boundary meter that is shared among lot owners in unit complexes- No charge can be passed onto tenants
Individual meter but no Water Compliance Certificate- Only excess water charges can be passed onto the tenant
Individual meter AND Water Compliance Certificate- All water usage charges can be passed onto the tenants. We send them an invoice based on your Urban Utilities bill
